What is MC110?

Hi and hello again everyone!

We met again apparently. Guess what? Today, I would like to share some information about MC110 which is a course code for Diploma in Communication and Media. Actually, there is a one more programme under Mass Communication Faculty known as Diploma in New Media Communication and Contentpreneurship or MC111.

Students from Mass Communication Faculty commonly known as MassCom / Masscommers students. The Faculty of Communication and Media Studies offers various courses for students and aiming to help the students develop their talents in various field such as:

• Journalism

• Broadcasting

• Public Relation

• Advertising

• Creative skills on various platform

They also aimed to help students to extend their understanding and knowledge of the process and practices of different aspects of basic needs communication.

I can conclude for each semester, you will learn new things and have a new exciting adventure that will wait for you. For our Diploma, we do not an internship yet, the internship for this programme will be on degree level.

Why did I choose MC110?

At first, I would like to give it a try and learn more different things. I still remember in the first and second semester, I really kind of attached myself to the subject and the various skills that I have developed throughout the semester. Now, I really find the subject that can enhance and improve my creative and strategic thinking side.

But, bear in mind on MC110, we rarely have final examinations. Based on my experience, we only have final examinations in semester 1 only. So, we were really struggling on the assignment & online test. As a student, please pay extra attention on this assignment for each subjects:

• Group assignment

• Individual assignment

My precious University Life!

Through thick and thin of the semester, there will be the memories or people that we will cherish for. As for myself, I am really cherish my friendship that I have make throughout the semester.
